General Manager – Opening Team

Location: Pasadena, CA

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonus Potential

Our client is a rapidly growing Los Angeles-based hospitality group known for its artisan bakery and café concept.

This role is for a brand-new concept from the same group: a red-sauce Italian neighbourhood restaurant opening in Pasadena, blending the energy and nostalgia of an 1980s Italian-American restaurant with a modern, California-forward hospitality experience — high-quality ingredients, scratch-made pasta, an ancient grain focus, and a strong wine program.

This will be the group's first pizza-driven concept and marks an exciting stage of growth.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced, energetic, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of this new restaurant.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on building teams, shaping culture, and growing with an expanding restaurant group.

The successful candidate will play a key role in opening the restaurant, establishing operating standards, and creating the guest experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations and opening execution
• Recruit, train, and develop a strong hospitality team
• Create and maintain a positive restaurant culture
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and service standards
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, labour, inventory, and financial performance
• Partner with ownership and culinary leadership to execute the concept's vision
• Support future growth and operational development within the group
• Build strong relationships within the Pasadena community
