A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker for their Children and Families service in Herefordshire.

This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)

About the job

• Safeguard children and promote their welfare.


• Assess the needs and risks of children and families.


• Manage Child in Need and Child Protection cases.


• Work directly with children and families to improve outcomes.


• Coordinate support with schools, health services, and other agencies.


• Monitor and review plans to ensure children remain safe and supported.


• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports when required.
  
  

About you

The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification experience in Children's Social Work

• £36,363 - £40,777 plus £5,000 market supplement dependent on experience
