Nursery Practitioner
An opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established childcare provider committed to delivering a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive through high-quality early years education and care.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will report to the Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager, providing high-quality care and supporting childrens learning and development while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment and working closely with colleagues and parents.

You will be responsible for:
* Supporting childrens physical, emotional, social and intellectual development through age-appropriate activities.
* Sharing regular updates with parents regarding their childs wellbeing and progress.
* Helping children settle into the nursery and ensuring they feel secure and comfortable.
* Planning and delivering activities in line with childrens individual stages of development.
* Ensuring toys, equipment and learning areas are clean, hygienic and stored safely.
* Assisting with cleaning, sterilising equipment and maintaining high hygiene standards.
* Participating in fire drills and following emergency procedures.
* Recording accidents accurately and ensuring appropriate reporting procedures are followed.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
* Minimum NNEB, NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent early years qualification.
* A Level 3 qualification would be beneficial but is not essential
* Professional, caring and child-focused approach.
