Advance Steel Designer / Detailer

A structural steel and architectural metalwork specialist is currently looking for a permanent Advance Steel Designer / Detailer to produce approval, fabrication and erection drawings for architectural and general metalwork in Essex.

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent (office/factory based, 5 days per week)

Duties:

• Create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel


• Generate GA drawings, assembly details and material schedules


• Work closely with project managers, engineers and workshop teams


• Interpret engineering calculations and specifications to deliver projects on time

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years' continuous Advance Steel detailing/draughting experience


• Strong understanding of architectural/general metalwork and fabrication processes


• Able to work full-time from the office in Waltham Abbey


• Good communication skills and high attention to detail
