Head Chef – Modern British Restaurant 70-80k plus bonus

An exceptional opportunity for a Head Chef to join a prestigious west London neighbourhood gem, working alongside an industry-respected chef director to elevate a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant.

The Role
We are seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at 90 cover  renowned British grill restaurant in the heart of West London.

This is a project role for an experienced, commercially astute Head Chef who can lead the kitchen, drive consistency, and build a high-performing team.

You will have significant autonomy to improve operations, manage P&L, improve profitability.

The Restaurant

• Michelin Guide-listed, British grill-focused neighbourhood restaurant.
• Up to 200 covers per day
• Lunch and dinner service
• Recently refurbished kitchen.

The Head Chef Role

• Lead a brigade of 10-12 chefs.
• Drive consistency, food quality, and service standards.
• Manage P&L, cost control, payroll, and wastage.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Contribute to monthly set menu changes and specials.
• Recruit , motivate and train the kitchen team.
• Work autonomously while reporting to the chef director.

The Ideal Head Chef

• Experienced Head Chef with strong financial acumen.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, cost control, payroll, and budgeting.
• Comfortable with British/European cuisine and grill-focused menus.
• Hands-on leader who can manage a team
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Previous Michelin Guide experience desirable but not essential.
• Someone who sees this as a project and is ready to make a real impact.
