Factory Labourer – Pocklington

£13.43–£15.45 per hour PAYE
No Weekends | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting Factory Labourers for a well-established international manufacturing business in Pocklington.

This is a hands-on, physically active role offering excellent temp-to-perm opportunities.

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00
• Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 13:45–23:45
• No weekends

• Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
• No weekends

All pay rates are paid PAYE.

A key part of the job involves manually lifting and emptying 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels, so you must be comfortable carrying out regular physical work.

Other duties will include:

• Basic machine operation
• Carrying out quality checks
• Preparing and handling production materials
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Following chemical, process and site safety procedures
• Supporting different production areas when required

You should:

• Be comfortable regularly handling 25kg bags
• Have a strong awareness of health and safety
• Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Be able to work your chosen shift pattern
• Work well as part of a team

Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, agriculture, construction or other physically demanding work is beneficial but not essential.
