Sous Chef – Boutique Resort

Location: Bahamas
Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 USD net salary, negotiable

We are recruiting for a boutique resort in the Bahamas seeking two experienced Sous Chefs to join their culinary team.

These positions will oversee operations across two restaurants, with opportunities available on either the morning or evening shift.

The Role

• Lead culinary operations across two resort restaurants
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Lead, motivate and support the culinary team
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organization
• Help develop menus and dishes that showcase Bahamian flavours
• Support the Executive Chef and wider Food & Beverage team
• Manage either the morning or evening culinary operation

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven Sous Chef or senior culinary experience within a hotel or resort
• Caribbean hospitality experience required
• Boutique hotel or resort experience preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and team leadership
• Experience incorporating Bahamian or Caribbean flavours into menus
• Knowledge of gluten-free and vegan culinary requirements
• Hands-on, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced resort environment
