An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join an innovative technology organisation delivering complex software solutions for customers across a specialist technical environment.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support cloud and on-premises infrastructure, deployment processes and automation solutions across the organisation.

This full-time role offers salary £60,000 and benefits.

Note: Valid DV clearance is essential for this role.

You will be responsible for:



* Building, managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.


* Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions.


* Managing and optimising Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.


* Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions.


* Automating deployment and operational activities.


* Supporting containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.


* Working with development teams to improve software release processes.


* Maintaining security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.


* Investigating and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.


* Creating and maintaining operational documentation.


What we are looking for:



* Previously worked as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.


* Valid DV clearance.


* Approx 3+ yeras commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.


* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.




* Experience AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and working with Docker and Kubernetes.


* Strong background working with CI/CD platforms and in Linux administration.


* Familiarity in using Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.


* Good understanding of networking and security principles.


* Strong knowledge of Git.
