GENERAL MANAGER – PREMIUM NEIGHBOURHOOD RESTAURANT

We are working with a brilliant independent hospitality business who are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead one of their London restaurants.

THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on, floor-led General Manager role within a quality-focused neighbourhood restaurant.

The food offering is already performing really well, so the focus for this appointment will be around service, standards and the overall guest experience.

You will lead a small FOH team, oversee the wider restaurant operation and work closely with the kitchen.

This is a very relationship-led business with a huge amount of repeat trade, so we need someone who loves being on the floor, knows how to build a room and genuinely enjoys looking after guests.

THE CANDIDATE:

• We are looking for an experienced restaurant General Manager with a background in premium, quality-led restaurants.
• Someone calm, confident and personable who can coach and develop a small team and really drive service standards.
• Good food and wine knowledge is important, with WSET Level 2 ideally.
• This would suit someone who enjoys a slightly more grown-up restaurant environment and wants to be part of an independent business where the owners are present and involved.

• Independent and owner-led with a small collection of hospitality venues and some exciting growth planned over the next 18 months.
• There is plenty of opportunity for the right person to develop and grow with the business.
