Head of Food & Beverage - Luxury Country Hotel in Dorset

We are delighted to be working with a beautiful luxury country hotel in Dorset to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Head of Food & Beverage.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a distinctive luxury property with a strong focus on exceptional food, service and guest experience, and to play a key role in shaping the next chapter of its F&B operation.

Reporting into the General Manager, the Head of F&B will take overall responsibility for the hotel's food and beverage operation, leading across restaurants, bars, events and wider guest dining.

You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards while driving commercial performance, team development and innovation across the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing the overall F&B strategy
• Overseeing restaurants, bars, events and banqueting
• Driving revenue, profitability and cost control
• Working closely with the culinary team on menus and F&B development
• Delivering an exceptional and consistent guest experience
• Building, mentoring and inspiring a high-performing F&B team
• Managing budgets, forecasting, labour costs and GP performance
• Developing strong supplier and partner relationships
• Identifying new commercial opportunities and revenue streams
• Working closely with the GM and wider leadership team on the hotel's strategic objectives
• Continually raising service and operational standards

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced F&B leader from a luxury hotel, resort or high-end hospitality environment.
• You will be commercially astute, operationally strong and passionate about creating memorable food and beverage experiences.
• Proven experience at Head of F&B, Director of F&B or a comparable senior level
• A strong background in luxury hotels, resorts or high-end restaurants
• Excellent commercial and financial understanding
• A track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams
• A genuine passion for food, beverage and service
• Strong knowledge of contemporary F&B trends and guest expectations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Creativity, energy and a hands-on approach
