Fund Accountant - Private Markets

Skills/Experience

• CA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification


• Educated at University level (Degree)


• Track record of expertise within fund accounting and/or fund administration.


• Experience with limited partnerships and the reporting requirements, including capital account statements, financial statements, and performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, MOIC, DPI).


• Proficient in portfolio monitoring platforms such as or similar to iLevel, eFront and Geneva.


• Highly experienced in Microsoft Excel.


• Highly organised with an attention to detail.


• Confident individual.


• Ability to read, work with, analyse, and communicate data.


• Passion to grow within a fast-paced environment whilst developing expertise.


• Able to adapt efficiently within a constantly evolving industry.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Core Responsibilities

• NAV preparation and review, investor capital account statements, quarterly/annual reporting against governing fund documents (LPAs), and comfort with private equity fund structures and co-investment vehicles specifically.


• Third-party oversight.


• Treasury and cash management — bank account/cash monitoring, FX transaction coordination, credit facility usage.


• Multi-jurisdictional regulatory awareness — exposure to offshore/onshore fund jurisdictions.


• Performance metrics fluency — working knowledge of IRR, TVPI, MOIC and DPI, and how these feed into investor-facing performance reporting.


• Familiarity with investor/LP reporting portals and portfolio monitoring or fund data platforms.


• Audit support — preparing working papers and handling auditor queries directly.


• Cross-functional stakeholder management.
