US Tax Consultant

Skills/Experience

• Over 3 year's experience


• Part qualified/Qualified CA / ACA / ACCA accountant.


• Self-motivated and driven individual looking to grow both professionally and personally


• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, team environment whilst collaborating with colleagues across business locations worldwide.


• Confident in prioritising workload effectively in relation to deadlines.


• Critical thinker and able to self-review effectively.


• Possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills.


• Highly organised with an attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and Tax extension calculations to assist with US tax for Federal, State, and Local tax returns for the firm's legal entities.


• Arrange tax accounting calculations and work papers in compliance with ASC740.


• Collect and analyse data.


• Conduct validation controls on internal systems data.


• Prepare Federal and separate state tax returns and tax return work papers for multiple legal entities across different businesses.


• Perform tax research.


• Correspond with taxing authorities on deficiency notices.


• Conduct ad hoc duties to support the Tax Manager of the US Corporate tax team.


• Continuously learn and implement standard processes.
