ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

Location: Washington, VA
Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 + comprehensive benefits + potential relocation assistance

We are hiring on behalf of a luxury five-star hospitality property for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper and oversee daily housekeeping operations.

This is a strong leadership opportunity with potential to step into the Executive Housekeeper position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a housekeeping team of 10+ employees.
• Oversee guest room and public area cleanliness and luxury service standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, budgets, inventory and purchasing.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure consistent quality standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to support the overall guest experience.
• Handle hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
• Step in to lead the department during the Executive Housekeeper’s absence.

Ideal Candidate

• 3–5+ years of progressive housekeeping experience, including management/supervisory experience.
• Experience leading and developing a housekeeping team.
• Strong understanding of luxury hotel housekeeping standards.
• Experience with labor management, budgeting and inventory control.
• Highly organized, hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Luxury, Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond or comparable experience preferred.
