Job Title: General Manager – Hospitality Venue

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus

Location: Lancashire

I am working with a client who is looking for a hands-on, high-energy General Manager to take full ownership of a hospitality venue in Lancashire.

This is a floor-led leadership role — you’ll be visible, involved and driving the operation across hospitality, food & beverage, retail and wider venue operations.

You’ll set the standards, shape the culture, develop the team and ensure every aspect of the operation delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving strong commercial results.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day venue operation, overseeing hospitality, food & beverage, retail and wider operational activity.
• Lead from the front, setting high standards across service, customer experience and team performance.
• Build, coach and inspire a high-performing team, creating a positive and engaging working culture.
• Drive commercial performance across the venue, with responsibility for revenue, budgets, P&L, labour and cost control.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience and maximise revenue.
• Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to deliver business objectives and support the continued growth of the venue.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, events or multi-faceted venue operations.
• Proven experience in a General Manager or senior operational leadership role within a busy, high-volume environment.
• A natural, hands-on leader who thrives on the floor and enjoys being visible within the operation.
• Strong commercial awareness, with a good understanding of financial performance, labour management and cost control.
• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead diverse teams.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, customer experience and exceptional service standards.
