Director of National Accounts

Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $110,000–$120,000 + Bonus

We’re partnering with a luxury resort in Miami that is looking for a Director of National Accounts to help grow its presence in the group market and bring in new business from key accounts.

You’ll be the face of the resort for a number of important clients, building relationships, finding new opportunities and helping turn them into confirmed business.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of relationship management and business development, and who likes being out meeting clients rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

About You

• Strong background in hotel or resort sales, with experience working across the group and meetings market
• Someone who naturally enjoys networking, building connections and opening doors with new clients
• Comfortable working with larger accounts and managing relationships from the first conversation through to booking
• Confident negotiating commercial agreements and finding solutions that work for both the client and the property
• Polished, personable and well organized, with a good understanding of the luxury hospitality market

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts while actively looking for new revenue opportunities
• Build a strong pipeline of group business and bring new clients and events to the resort
• Spend time meeting clients and industry contacts through networking, travel, trade shows and hospitality events
• Bring prospective clients into the property, creating a great experience and showcasing the resort’s rooms, meeting and event spaces
• Work alongside the sales and hotel teams to move opportunities forward, from initial proposals and pricing through to contracts and confirmed business
