Director of Sales

Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $160,000 + Bonus

We’re working with a luxury resort in Miami that is looking for a Director of Sales to lead the sales team and help drive the property’s group, leisure and golf business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the business, building relationships and helping a team succeed.

You’ll have a good mix of leading from the front, getting out into the market, working with clients and helping shape the overall sales strategy.

About You

• You’ve got a strong background in hotel or resort sales, with 5+ years in senior sales leadership
• You know the Miami market well and understand what it takes to win business across group, corporate and leisure segments
• You’re a people leader who enjoys coaching, developing and supporting a sales team
• You’re commercially minded and comfortable looking at budgets, forecasts and market trends to make smart sales decisions
• You’re confident, personable and comfortable representing a luxury property with clients, partners and industry contacts

What You’ll Do

• Lead the sales team across group, leisure and golf, keeping everyone focused on growing the business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while getting out into the market to uncover new opportunities
• Spend time with the team on sales calls, industry events, client entertainment and market visits
• Keep the sales strategy fresh by staying close to what’s happening in the market and what competitors are doing
• Work closely with hotel leadership on budgets, forecasts, business plans and the bigger picture for the resort
