Catering Assistant

A well-established organisation with a strong presence across North Wales is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team based near Rhos on Sea.

As the Catering Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the delivery of a high-quality and efficient catering service
• Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold food and beverages
• Cleaning, tidying and sanitising kitchen equipment, tables and waste bins
• Maintaining clean and presentable front of house and dining areas before and after service
• Restocking and replenishing food, shelves, displays and beverage machines as required
• Serving customers and processing payments
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure the smooth running of the service

To be considered for the Catering Assistant role, you will need:

• A current Food Hygiene Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• A current DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• The ability to work to high standards in a busy environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Welsh language skills would be desirable but are not essential

This is a temporary, ongoing position based near Rhos on Sea, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis.

Working hours will fall between 7am and 6pm, with flexibility required to work different shift times depending on the rota.

In return, you will receive an hourly pay rate of £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay whilst on assignment.
