Commercial Insurance Development Executive

London | Base salary up to £85,000 + commission | Hybrid working

Build and grow a commercial portfolio with existing clients to get you started and an experienced broking team supporting placement.

An established London brokerage is looking for a commercial insurance professional who enjoys developing relationships and winning new clients.

New business will be the main focus.

You'll take over a selection of existing accounts while developing further opportunities through networking, referrals and relationship building.

You'll have autonomy over your approach, backed by the brokerage's infrastructure and access to a broad range of insurer markets.

  Develop new commercial insurance business and grow your portfolio.

  Build relationships with prospective clients, understand their businesses and advise on their insurance needs.

  Generate and manage a pipeline through networking, referrals and market relationships.

  Manage and develop the existing clients allocated to you.

  Work closely with the broking team to negotiate terms and place risks.

  Identify opportunities to retain and grow business across your accounts.

  Strong commercial insurance experience gained in broking or underwriting.

  Experience developing business relationships and identifying new opportunities.

  A clear appetite for winning clients and building a commercial portfolio.

  Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurer market.

  The organisation and initiative to manage your pipeline and follow opportunities through.

  A base salary of up to £85,000, depending on experience, plus commission on the business you develop.
