Housekeeping Manager

Location: Menlo Park, CA
Salary: $70,500–$80,000
Compensation: Full-time, annual salary

I am hiring on behalf of a luxury property in Menlo Park, California, seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure consistently high standards across guest rooms and public areas.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who understands luxury hospitality and can effectively lead a housekeeping team while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and team assignments.
• Supervise, coach, and support housekeeping associates and supervisors.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure luxury standards are consistently maintained.
• Coordinate room readiness with Front Office and other departments.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
• Maintain appropriate levels of linen, supplies, and housekeeping inventory.
• Ensure proper key control and departmental procedures are followed.
• Address guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Assist with departmental projects and operational initiatives.
• Support the Director of Housekeeping and assume additional responsibility when required.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience in an upscale or luxury hotel.
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.
• Spanish-speaking ability is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional presentation and a genuine commitment to maintaining high guest service standards.
