Banbury | £35,000 - £40,000 | Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Customer Service Lead to join a successful business in Banbury.

You'll be a key point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, managing enquiries and quotations and working across the business to ensure a great customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.

This is more than a traditional customer service role.

You'll have the opportunity to identify commercial opportunities, improve processes and help drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities:

  Building strong customer relationships and taking ownership of enquiries and escalations

  Managing quotations and commercial follow-up

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinating with technical support, purchasing, logistics and warehouse teams

  
  


• 
  

  Proactively resolving issues, delays and operational challenges

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying opportunities to grow aftermarket sales and improve customer retention

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing processes and driving improvements to customer service and operational efficiency

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring KPIs and using performance information to identify areas for improvement

  
  

We're looking for:

  Experience in customer service, account management, commercial support or operations

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing enquiries, quotations and order processing

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  A confident communicator who can work effectively across different departments

  
  


• 
  

  A proactive, commercially aware approach with a genuine interest in improving how things are done

  
  

Experience within engineering, manufacturing, service or industrial equipment would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
