Accounting Manager

Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $90,000–$95,000

We’re partnering with a well-established hospitality and events organization in Denver that’s looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team.

You’ll be leading people, working across different areas of the business and getting involved in projects that actually make a difference to how the finance function operates.

It’s a role where you can get stuck in, have a voice and help make things better, rather than just keeping the numbers moving.

About You

• You’ve got a strong accounting background and enjoy working in a busy, fast-moving environment
• You’ve managed a team and genuinely enjoy coaching, supporting and bringing people along with you
• You’re comfortable with accounting systems and don’t mind getting your hands dirty when something needs fixing
• You naturally look for ways to make processes easier, faster and more accurate
• You’re approachable, organized and confident working with everyone from your immediate team to senior stakeholders

What You’ll Do

• Lead the accounting team, set priorities and make sure everyone has the support they need
• Take the lead on accounting and billing projects from idea through to implementation
• Work with teams across the business to improve systems, processes and reporting
• Investigate issues, figure out what’s going wrong and work with the right people to fix them
• Get involved in bigger projects, integrations and changes across the business
• Find ways to make billing and accounting processes more efficient and accurate
• Help the team get up to speed when new systems or processes are introduced
• Be the person people can come to when they need an accounting answer or a second opinion

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with financial systems and billing processes
• Strong communication skills and a practical, can-do approach to problem solving
