Executive Chef – Luxury Resort
Location: Traverse City, MI
Salary: $100,000–$115,000 + Bonus, PTO, 401(k), Benefits, Relocation Assistance & Potential Temporary Housing

I’m hiring on behalf of a leading resort in the Traverse City area for an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operation across multiple outlets, banquets and resort dining experiences.

This is a senior culinary leadership position responsible for driving culinary standards, menu development, kitchen operations, food quality, cost control and team development across a high-volume resort environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong luxury resort, hotel, club or large-scale hospitality experience, with a proven track record leading multiple culinary outlets and developing high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and develop the resort’s culinary team
• Oversee daily kitchen operations across outlets and banquets
• Drive menu development, culinary standards and consistency
• Manage food costs, labor and operational performance
• Partner with senior leadership to enhance the overall guest experience
• Recruit, train and develop culinary talent

Ideal background:
Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience within a luxury resort, hotel, private club or similarly high-volume operation, with strong banquet and multi-outlet experience.
