Keenan Solar, one of North London’s leading solar and battery storage companies, is looking for a reliable roofer to work alongside our in-house installation team.

North London | Own van essential | Subcontractor basis

Solar experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

If you’re an experienced roofer looking to move into renewables, we can provide full training in solar panel installation.

We’re looking to build a long-term working relationship, with ongoing work available throughout the winter.

The work

• Installing solar panel mounting systems and panels.
• Working on pitched and flat roofs alongside our electricians.
• Completing roof work, flashing and weatherproofing to a high standard.
• Keeping sites safe, tidy and professional.
• Taking pride in the finish and looking after our customers’ homes.

What we’re looking for

• Solid roofing experience and confidence working at height.
• Your own van, tools and a full driving licence.
• Based locally to North London.
• Willing to travel to jobs across London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
• A practical attitude and willingness to learn.
• Suitable insurance for subcontract work.

What we offer

• £250–£350 per day, depending on experience and ability.
• Ongoing subcontract work, including throughout the winter.
• Full solar installation training for the right roofer.
• Work alongside an experienced, established in-house team.
