Sous Chef - High-Volume Pan Asian Restaurant - East London 45-50k

A hands-on Sous Chef role in a busy, high-volume Pan Asian kitchen, with an immediate start available.

COREcruitment is partnering with an established premium restaurant group on the search for a Sous Chef for its high-volume Pan Asian restaurant in East London.

This Sous Chef role is all about delivery: running busy services to spec, supporting the Head Chef and developing the team.

The client is looking for a Sous Chef who can start within two weeks.

The Sous Chef role

• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a high-volume kitchen
• Run services of up to 600 covers a day, across à la carte and private dining
• Deliver every dish to group specs, with consistent standards on every service
• Manage and supervise junior chefs across all sections
• Train the team on dishes, specs, food safety and kitchen standards
• Support with ordering, stock control, rotas and food safety records
• Help the kitchen hit its monthly performance targets

About you

• Sous Chef experience in a premium, high-volume restaurant
• Pan Asian, Japanese or Southeast Asian kitchen experience strongly preferred
• Wok, robata grill or live-fire experience an advantage
• Organised, calm under pressure and confident leading busy services
• A hands-on trainer who brings junior chefs on
• Available to start within two weeks
