A Senior Sous Chef role with a structured path to Head Chef, backed by a Group Executive Chef.

COREcruitment is partnering with a growing premium casual restaurant group in Central London on the search for a Senior Sous Chef.

This multi-site business has further openings planned, giving the right Senior Sous Chef a clear route to their first Head Chef role.

The Senior Sous Chef role

• Support the Head Chef in leading a brigade of 15-20 chefs
• Run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, with full support from the Group Executive Chef
• Own ordering, stock control, rotas and food safety
• Train and develop the brigade, including Chefs de Partie
• 160-200 covers on a busy weekend, with all food prepared fresh on site

About you

• An established Senior Sous Chef ready to step towards Head Chef
• Background in premium casual, high-volume, fresh-food kitchens
• Confident with small plates and sharing-style menus
• A calm leader who values team culture, inclusivity and wellbeing
• Ambitious and keen to grow with the business

The package

• 49-52k basic plus tronc, plus a 5% quarterly bonus on KPIs
• 45-hour week, with Monday as an admin day
• Premium medical cover and mental health support
• 3 months of structured training
• Clear path to Head Chef with ongoing support from the Group Executive Chef
• Further site openings planned, creating real progression
