An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Restaurant General Manager to lead the opening and operation of a prestigious new Italian restaurant in Kuwait.

Representing an internationally recognised luxury hospitality concept, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and guest-focused leader to build a high-performing team, establish exceptional service standards and deliver an outstanding Italian dining experience from day one.

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in premium restaurants, luxury dining and the successful launch of high-profile restaurant operations.

The Role

As Restaurant General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the restaurant’s overall operations, commercial performance and guest experience.

Working closely with senior management, you will lead the pre-opening process, recruit and develop the team, establish operational standards and ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional service while achieving its financial objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or senior operations leader within premium Italian or mediterranean restaurants or internationally recognised dining concepts.
• A strong track record of leading successful restaurant operations and managing high-end guest experiences.
• Demonstrated experience opening new restaurants or leading major pre-opening projects.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, motivate and develop a diverse, multicultural team.
• Strong commercial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, revenue generation, labour costs, profitability and financial performance.
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, guest relations and quality control.
• The ability to build a strong service culture, maintain operational excellence and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Outstanding communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on and proactive leadership style.
• International luxury hospitality experience and previous experience in the Middle East would be advantageous.
• A passion for premium Italian dining and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Fluent English & Italian language preferred
