Maintenance Technician – Hotel

About the Role

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician looking to develop your technical skills and build a long-term career in hospitality?

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join an international hotel group, helping keep hotel facilities, equipment and building systems running safely and efficiently.

You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring the property remains in excellent condition for guests and colleagues.

The Role

• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities and equipment.
• Identify and resolve breakdowns, defects and technical issues.
• Monitor energy consumption and support improvements in efficiency and sustainability.
• Coordinate with external maintenance contractors and technical service providers.
• Maintain records of equipment and installations requiring regular maintenance.
• Follow maintenance schedules and coordinate work around hotel operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and emergency procedures.
• Support the safe maintenance of pools, spas and water systems where required.

About You

• Vocational qualification in a relevant technical field, such as electrical systems, HVAC, building services or electromechanics.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar environment, ideally hotels, residences or hospitals.
• Strong practical skills in troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of regulations applicable to public buildings.
• Knowledge of Legionella prevention and control, particularly in pools, spas and hot water systems.
• Reliable, organised and proactive, with a stable employment history.
• Comfortable coordinating with external contractors and other hotel

departments.
