Holt Engineering are recruiting for a permanent Factory Operative to join our client near Salisbury.
This company manufactures a variety of metal tubing and assemblies, they offer full training and opportunities for progression too.
Duties:
- Be able to work with limited support
- Operating bandsaws and cold saws to cut raw materials
- Prepare parts for assembly
- Material movement via forklift (beneficial but not essential)
- Working across various departments assisting as and when needed
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic handheld tool experience
- Previous experience working with metal would be advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Lead AV Installation Engineer - This is a new role in where you will be working for the pre-eminent AV systems integrator in London who specialise in the high end bespoke residential AV market.

Role Overview
We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well established life sciences organisation based in the Edinburgh area.
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will join a small team of in-house engineers and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance in an efficient and timely manner in a number of buildings including offices, laboratories and other research facilities.
You will also be required to carry out any maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment.
Please note you will be participating in an On Call rota with the other engineers to provide 24/7 cover to the entire park. On call fee paid plus overtime for call outs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out pre-planned electrical maintenance at various intervals on electrical plant and equipment as required.

Carrying out repairs to the above systems in a safe and timely manner to allow work to continue as soon as possible.
3. In-service inspections and testing of electrical equipment, including fixed

4. Periodic inspection and testing of building fixed wiring to comply with BS
7671 18th Edition as required.

An exciting job opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineer in Mirfield, West Yorkshire for a well-known manufacturing company.
There are multiple opportunities within the company as they are looking to employ 3 highly skilled engineers.
These positions are operating on a 4on 4off shift pattern (2 days 2 nights 4 days off) paying up to £50,000 (DOE).With over a century of experience, this family-owned organisation has redefined materials and fibres for over a century.

Their values remain at the core of their commitment to perfecting a variety of products within the textile industry.Roles and Responsibilities as a Mechanical Engineer:
Involved in both reactive and preventive maintenance across a wide range of production machinery to ensure this is minimal downtime
Working cross-functionally across the site and communicating the unscheduled downtime to the Maintenance Lead and offering solutions
Repairing and maintaining Mechanical Breakdowns on a variety of machines such as Carding, Laminating, and Packaging Automation Machinery etc.
Participate in Continuous Process Improvements and regular troubleshooting.
I would be keen to see CV's from individuals who:
Are qualified in one of the following City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or Full 4-Year Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
Has vast experience working in a fast-paced industry such as Food, FMCG, Packaging, Textiles, or Drink etc.
Have held one of the following or similar job titles such as Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Fitter,
