Typically, this person will visit vessels to repair, commission and inspect gearbox's used on larger vessels - you will travel across the UK, Ireland and sometimes further afield to carry out this work and carry out sea trials upon completion of works.

Have good written, verbal and computer skills
Write detailed reports
Work from a workshop carrying out works needed on the gearbox's
Have a working knowledge of gearbox's, hydraulics, and some electrical
