Job Title: Roof Coatings Sales Specialist
Location: Field Sales (Territory - FL)
Department: Rust-Oleum US Sales
Reports To: National Account Executive
Summary:
Rust-Oleum is looking for a Roof Coating Sales Specialist to join our growing Roofing Platform.
Based in Florida, this field-based role will focus on driving sales growth by working closely with roofing distributors, contractors, and internal Rust-Oleum divisions. This person will also collaborate with our Rep Group to ensure product placement at distributor locations and help grow the Roofing Platform across various market segments, including Two-Step Distribution and Paint Channel divisions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with experience in roof coatings, patch & repair products, and roofing systems. This position will require hands-on engagement with distributors and contractors, including roof assessments, product training, and technical support.
This position is perfect for a driven sales professional who enjoys working with distributors, contractors, and internal partners to grow Rust-Oleum's Roofing Platform across multiple channels.
This is a dual sales and support role, requiring someone with entrepreneurial drive to develop distributor relationships, provide field support to contractors, and grow Rust-Oleum's presence in the Roofing market across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
Distributor & Rep Group Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with roofing distributors across the central U.S. Work with Rust-Oleum's Rep Group to secure product placement at distributor locations and grow market share. Support Two-Step Distribution and Paint Channel divisions by promoting Rust-Oleum's Roofing products to additional market segments. Assist distributors with promotions, product displays, and local events to drive product awareness and sales.
Contractor Engagement:
Call on roofing contractors to promote Rust-Oleum products and train them on proper application techniques. Conduct roof inspections and assessments, providing system recommendations to contractors.
Drive pull-through sales by encouraging contractors to purchase Rust-Oleum products through stocking distributors.
Sales Strategy & Program Development:
Develop and execute strategies to grow the Roofing Platform by increasing product placement at distributor locations and expanding contractor engagement. Coordinate buying group shows, industry conferences, and tradeshows to promote Rust-Oleum Roofing products.
Technical Support & Product Training:
Conduct pre-project inspections, including adhesion tests and product recommendations. Provide hands-on training to contractors on product systems and installation best practices. Troubleshoot product or application issues and offer technical support as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain detailed records in Salesforce, including customer interactions, forecasts, and sales activities. Deliver presentations and product training sessions to distributors, contractors, and internal teams. Manage expense reports and ensure compliance with Rust-Oleum's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market. Knowledge of roof coatings, patch & repair products, and roofing systems. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with distributors, contractors, and internal teams. Ability to perform roof inspections and climb roofs as needed. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the assigned territory. Salary range: 80-85K base, sales bonus eligible

The Contractor Support Specialist is a sales and support role, designed to generate contractor discretionary business in a specific area while providing localized technical support.
The CSS personnel will work directly alongside the contractors, focused on the restoration coatings line, to ensure that Tremco and the contractor are providing the best solutions, the best products and the best installations to our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
* Ensure safe execution and delivery of all roofing services and operations.
* Provide a variety of technical training sessions in the contractor's office and field applications.
* Provide hands on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
* Perform roof inspections reports with written reports on condition analysis, photo documentation, recommendation and material budget estimates.
* Communicate professionally with our customers, Tremco sales representatives and regional sales managers and corporate staff.
* Complete weekly/monthly reports, sales activities, proposals and purchase orders.
* Travel within the assigned territory, complete expense reports on a timely basis.
* Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to:
* Peel tests
* Product recommendations
* Proper product installation
* Product diagnostic support to ensure the contractor is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation.
* Provide an on-going sales support, training and development to the contractors, per the direction of the local sales reps.
* Be a direct line of contact to the contractors in the designated area, per the local sales reps, to maintain a good working relationship with the existing contractor base, keeping them informed and trained on Tremco s product line and new products introduced.
* Develop new contractors in the area, per the local sales team, by training on product systems and their usage.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Associate s degree (AAS), or Trade School Certification, or Bachelor s Degree (BS) preferred.
* 5+ years of roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market.
* 2+ years of roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.
* Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal systems.
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
* Class B CDL driver s license.
* Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
* Prior experience in a field sales and service leadership role.
* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learn internal business systems).
* In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of product line.
* History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
* Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.

The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof.

Join Fugro's Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen as a Surveyor and play a key role in delivering remote survey operations for offshore projects.
You'll support vessels across the region, ensuring high-quality data and smooth execution of workscopes—all from a centralised, 24/7 onshore hub.
This is a rotational role, working 12-hour shifts on a 3-week schedule, ideal for someone who's technically skilled, detail-focused, and ready to make an impact from shore.
Your role and responsibilities:
You'll be reporting to the ROC Manager and teaming up with Survey Supervisors, ROC Superintendents, offshore crews, project managers, clients, and third-party suppliers.
You'll also have the chance to collaborate with other Fugro Remote Operations Centres and innovation teams around the world—so there's always something new to learn and contribute to.
Running remote survey operations from our Aberdeen hub and making sure everything's delivered on time and to spec.
Supporting offshore teams with technical know-how and helping troubleshoot when things get tricky.
Using survey software and sensor systems to keep data flowing and accurate—if something's off, you'll spot it and fix it.
Helping set up, test, and calibrate survey equipment so everything's ready to go.
Keeping your skills sharp by working with different software and staying up to date with the latest tools and techniques.
Pitching in on remote solutions for Fugro and third-party vessels and platforms.
Pulling together data from various sensors and making sure it's clear, clean, and ready to go.
Writing up logs, keeping vessel info current, and making sure handovers are smooth.
Following QHSSE and operational procedures to keep everything safe and compliant.
Looking for ways to improve how we work—testing ideas, documenting what works, and sharing it with the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties Description Assisting Sales Assisting the Sales Representative with sales process from prospecting to closing; developing business in assigned markets, providing solid market presence including serving customers.

Inspections
This work may include, but is not limited to: identifying; analyzing; and resolving any problems; and preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.
When and where necessary or required, may perform QA/ QA+ inspections, Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Monitoring Installation Visits to project sites to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products for the purpose of determining whether to issue a Tremco warranty.
This work may include, but is not limited to: monitoring progress of the installation; identifying any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications; reviewing and resolving concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions; coordinating visits with contractors; and preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative.
Troubleshooting Identifying problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof.
This work may include but is not limited to: identifying source(s) of leaks; analyzing problems to determine the best solution; monitoring implementation of the solution; and preparing written action plans.
This work will represent less than 45% of the SA's time Manual Labor Performing patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
Performing minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work This work may include but is not limited to: conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs; taking photographs; preparing CADD drawings; and delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g.
