Service Care Solutions are looking for a Key Worker to work within the Cheshire East Council on a 3-month contract.Location: Macclesfield Town HallJob role/Responsibilities: Undertake statutory assessments and develop and maintain EHCPs across the Local Authority for children with SEND.
Manage a caseload of children with EHCPs, attending annual reviews and updating plans as needed.
Liaise with childcare, education, and vocational providers to secure appropriate placements for children and young people with EHCPs.
Coordinate a person-centred, outcome-focused, multi-agency approach to assessment, planning, and support, ensuring young people and parents are treated as partners in creating EHCPs.
Act as key worker for allocated young people requiring SEND assessments or EHCPs.
Serve as the Named Officer and primary contact for assigned schools, colleges, and institutions attended by Cheshire East Council residents with SEND.
Attend and, when necessary, chair multi-agency co-production meetings.
Analyse and evaluate educational, medical, social care, and psychological reports to make balanced, outcome-driven service recommendations.
Meet with young people, parents, and carers to discuss and resolve SEND support decisions, guiding families to Independent Advice and Support or advocacy as needed.
Submit comprehensive evidence to Moderation Panels to facilitate decision-making.
Support the SEND team in promoting an inclusive approach, advising families to make informed choices about special educational needs support.
Represent the Local Authority in mediation and appeals, including First Tier Tribunal (SEN and Disability).
Track progress and outcomes of commissioned provision for young people and ensure achievement of outcomes.
Liaise with non-educational agencies to secure necessary services and advise schools to effectively use SEND funding.
Ensure resources for SEND support and EHCPs are allocated, monitored, and reviewed, including guidance on personal budgets and outcome measures for reporting young people's progress.
Knowledge/Expereince required:
Extended experience in/with early years, school, college, Local Authority, health, independent setting in relation to children and young people with special educational needs and disability.
Successful experience of collaborative and partnership working with school staff and partner agencies.
Effective working with families or young people.
Effective multi agency working Statutory Assessment (SEND, Child Protection etc.).
Reviewing monitoring and evaluating performance against agreed targets.
Presenting evaluative reports to ley and professional audiences.
Working with and delivering support//careers guidance/advisory services to children /young people and their parents.
Effective up to date theory and practice in the field of special educational needs relating to areas of responsibility.
Understand relevant legal frameworks.
Awareness and understanding of the impact on parents/carers.
Qualifications:
Graduate level qualification in Education, Social Work, Health-related field or Psychology.

Job Description:
Are you a qualified accountant with experience of working within a global finance function? Our client, a global asset management firm, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Control Accountant to join their Edinburgh team on an initial 4-month contract.
Essential Skills/Experience:
4+ years of accounting experience (Ideally have Financial Services/ “Big 4” experience).
CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, Smartviews or HFM would be highly advantageous (or equivalent accounting and consolidation systems).
Core Responsibilities:
Preparation and booking of quarterly repatriations of Capital across globally based legal entities.
Participate in project work for Corporate Control team, including the accounting and integration of legal entity acquisitions, restructures & refinancings, rationalisations and UAT Testing on the General Ledger.
Preparation and maintenance of the GlobalIntercompany Loan Register.
Preparing and booking monthly multi-currency interest accruals
Liaising across various Regions/Teams
Earnout/Goodwill and Intangible accounting
Assist and oversee Corporate month end processes globally in line with the monthly close calendar such as:
EMEA Profit & Loss flash and Balance Sheet reporting
Preparation and analysis of variance reporting
Monitoring of FX controls
Monitoring of segment changes within the general ledger
Assisting with the monitoring of the late journal process, running revaluation processes and month end reports
Assist with oversight of FX translation and reconciliation processes
Perform Balance sheet reconciliations including responsibility for providing suitable documentation and clearing reconciling items on a timely basis in the Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Senior Children's Registered Manager / Responsible Individual (RI) to join a reputable therapeutic residential care provider, offering excellent benefits.
This role offers excellent benefits along with company car and a salary range of £55,000 - £65,000.
As a Senior Children's Registered Manager / Responsible Individual (RI), you will oversee multiple Children's Homes, providing strategic guidance, ensuring quality care to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting and supervising Registered Managers across homes to maintain high-quality care and operational standards
* Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring children's and staff members safety and well-being
* Ensuring all homes comply with regulatory requirements, aiming for a minimum 'Good' Ofsted rating
* Embedding therapeutic practices across all homes in collaboration with the therapy team
* Monitoring staffing levels, resources, and training to ensure a capable, well-supported team
* Participating in care planning and evaluating outcomes to support each child's development
* Conducting quality checks, including audits, to ensure consistent care and documentation standards
* Visiting each home regularly to build rapport with children and staff, fostering a supportive community
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Children's Registered Manager, Children's Home Manager, Children's Care Manager, Regional Care Manager, Responsible Individual (RI) or in a similar role.
* At least 2 years of experience in Residential Children's Social Care
* In-depth understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and therapeutic practices (e.g., PACE model)
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Track record of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings
* Full UK Driving Licence and enhanced DBS clearance
* Familiarity with Children's Home Regulations and related legislation
