We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive two-form entry school in Edgware from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to make a real difference in a thriving school environment.

The school is committed to providing a safe, inclusive setting where every Year 1 Class Teacher can support pupils in achieving their full potential both academically and socially.

Your responsibilities as a Year 1 Teacher will include:

• Taking on full KS1 teacher duties including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment


• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum as a KS1 Class Teacher


• Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil progress as a Year 1 Class Teacher


• Creating a positive and calm classroom environment where pupils can thrive under the guidance of a KS1 Teacher

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

• A secure understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum essential for a Year 1 teacher


• Recent experience as a Year 1 Class Teacher or within KS1


• A commitment to supporting pupil development and well-being as a teacher


• A UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS suitable for a teacher
