We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join a Placements Team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the team
This team works to ensure that care plans are progressed for children and young people who are looked after children.
This role requires a Senior Practitioner to deputise for the central placement Service Manager in order to contribute to the management of the team.
This will include recruiting, directing, monitoring staff and providing support to the team to uphold the standards expected from a Local Authoirty rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted..
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a supervisory role within children's safeguarding Social Work.
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year).
A valid UK driving licence and car is essential in order to be considered for this role.
