Role Overview
As a Finance Administrator (cash team) you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and customer service teams with credit control and account management.
Your responsibilities as part of a team will include:
- Reviewing new account applications
- Reconciling customer/supplier accounts
- Managing relationships to resolve account queries
- Communicating via email & telephone
- Assisting with departmental tasks
- Participating in ledger reviews
- Collaborating with internal departments and the Financial Shared Service Centre
- Supporting company audits
Credit Control
- Managing sales ledger accounts
- Chasing, reconciling, and allocating customer accounts
- Placing and releasing accounts on hold
- Raising credits and processing refunds
- Managing various payment transactions
Skills and Attributes Required for the Finance Administrator (cash team)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Sage, SAP knowledge is an advantage

The starting salary offered is £24,000 - £26,500 per annum (dependent on experience) The hours are a 37.5 hours a week, 8:30 - 17:00 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, with hybrid working after probation.
