Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Integra Education are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted rated Good school in Urmston.

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work closely with teaching staff to delver high quality education and support to all pupils.

This role whilst is initially temporary has the opportunity to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons


• Work closely with children, including those with SEN/SEND to provide individualised support


• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment


• Provide one-to-one support for children who require additional help


• Contribute to the assessment and recording of children's progress


• Cover classroom teaching responsibilities when required

Requirements:

• An HLTA qualification or similar experience


• Experience working with children, particularly in an SEN/SEND setting


• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals


• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children learn and grow


• Effective behaviour management strategies
