My client, based in Bristol, design and manufacture a range of high precision electro-mechanical products that are sold all over the world.

Due to expansion, they currently require a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.

My Bristol based client use numerous motion and control systems, incorporating best in class solutions from leading manufacturers.

This includes lasers and motion which are often non-industrial systems, to meet the micromachining challenges their customers present.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Interpretating specifications and actively selecting components for Control panel design


• Designing control panels; this includes the layout for power and control of motion, part handling, pneumatics, safety, and lasers


• Circuit Design using Autocad LD


• Hands on testing and fault finding, working alongside wiremen.

To apply for this Senior Electrical Design Engineer job, it would be beneficial if you had:

• Experience with PLC and coding an advantage


• Experience within the semiconductor, aviation, oil & gas or relevant industry


• Extensive industry experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer


• Experience with control panel design would be a bonus
