Job Title: Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broughton to join our team as a Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler within the Single Aisle Stage 03 Planning & Logistics function.
In this role, you will design, implement, and provide ongoing support for planning and logistics processes essential for the assembly of wings and fuel system installation.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to the CPL21 Environment Health and Safety Policy Statement, evaluating risks, and continuously improving EHS performance to prevent injury, ill health, and pollution, especially in the processes of design, manufacture, assembly, and procurement of products, services, and equipment.
- Supporting multi-functional teams in projects aimed at enhancing business performance and managing day-to-day issues as they arise.
- Assisting Operational Business Areas to achieve the financial man-hours per set targets.
- Anticipating and responding to rate changes, managing associated risks and opportunities.
- Enabling Operational & Functional deliverables and reacting with agility to any changes in production.
- Ensuring the deployment of the Operating System (AOS) in all relevant areas.
- Building a strong interface with Procurement to anticipate and mitigate supplier performance risks, avoiding impacts on Operations.
- Ensuring adherence to logistical processes with the Logistic Service Provider (LSP) and addressing any non-adherence accordingly.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets, including macros and data manipulation.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Enthusiasm and receptiveness to change.
- A results-driven, logical, and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives.
- Determination and decisiveness, with the ability to use initiative to develop effective solutions to problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Great teamwork capabilities, with adaptability and flexibility.
- Preferable knowledge and experience with SAP Planning & Logistics.
- Rate: £20.18 - £26.70 per hour
