About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized MRP Controller to join our dynamic team.

The MRP Controller will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of existing and future manufacturing schedules, delivering logistics management activities, and ensuring customer programs are met in a timely manner.

Reporting to a senior member of the Manufacturing Planning & Control team, this role is crucial in maintaining efficient production and inventory processes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manufacturing Planning: Manage and coordinate all planning-related activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) on time, within cost, and with the desired quality.

  • Material Procurement: Coordinate and execute all activities related to the planning and procurement of materials, ensuring timely and adequate supply to meet the MPS.

  • MRP System Management: Release, manage, and schedule all work in the MRP system, maintaining accurate delivery forecasts and communicating these to customers.

  • Inventory Management: Ensure efficient material inventories in line with targets, minimizing excess waste and costs, and conduct regular stock checks to maintain MRP system accuracy.

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the Supply Planner to communicate potential plan changes, resolve supply chain constraints, and identify risks related to supplied parts.

  • Logistics Collaboration: Collaborate with Goods Receiving, Stores, and Despatch to manage inventory levels, resolve queries, and ensure accurate MRP system data and paperwork for transactions.

  • Non-Conformance Management: Support effective controls for non-conformance management.

  • Master Data Maintenance: Maintain the manufacturing bill of materials and manufacturing strategy, ensuring master data is up-to-date.

  • KPI Achievement: Support the achievement of schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs through effective planning process execution.



Qualifications and Experience:



  • Relevant experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • APICs supply chain certification is desirable but not essential.

  • Experience with SAP is beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.

  • Strong planning and organizing skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail.
