Criminal Justice Recovery Practitioner

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Criminal Justice Practitioner to work in Kingston.
The role will be working with a criminal justice organisation and pays between £20-£22 an hour depending on experience.
The role will require you to work 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday.

The Role
You will have experience of working within substance misuse and have criminal justice knowledge or a related Health and Social Care setting.

This role will be co-located within probation offices as part of Dependence and Recovery to improve continuity of care upon release from prison, you will case manage clients on probation alongside Probation Practitioners.


The role will require you to:



  • assess the needs of clients.

  • deliver effective interventions.

  • complete detailed reports

  • work closely with our criminal justice and other partner agencies.



An empathetic and non-judgemental approach is imperative, as this role involves working with a wide range of challenging issues and behaviours, and many difficult to engage clients.



The Service
The site is an established, integrated community service that delivers provision for the Borough.

The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox, as well as having family and carers and service user involvement provision.


It offers a wide range of pharmacological, psychosocial, recovery-orientated, health focused and inpatient interventions that support individuals and their families who wish to receive advice, assessment, and treatment for their drug and/ or alcohol related needs.
