Site Operative / Applicator

£25,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting new opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic team player with experience of working in a similar site operative role in the construction sector, to join a fast-growing organisation with a global presence.

Working across a wide range of locations throughout the UK and Ireland, the successful candidate will play an important onsite applicator role across a wide variety of interesting projects with sites including highways, car parks, coastal/marine, water treatment and other civils/construction projects.

The role primarily consists of active on-site application of waterproofing treatments and concrete repair systems at locations throughout the UK.

This may also include liaising with and/or coordinating sub-contractors carrying out work on behalf of Markham Global.

As such the ability to travel extensively and stay overnight away from home is essential.

Skills & Experiences

• Previous experience in a similar site-based role, ideally undertaking work that is very varied in nature including exposure to weather, working at heights and water, etc


• Effective Time & Task Management


• Self-accountability, motivation, discipline and ownership of key tasks


• Self-driven/motivated - ability to operate without excessive management including some lone working requirements


• Ability to coordinate people and resources to achieve desired outcomes


• High personal standards for attention to detail and a desire to execute tasks to the best of your ability


• Willing to travel long distances and stay away from home when required
