Nursery Nurse must be able to work Full Time

Salary: £90 - £120 depending on experience

Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse seeking to work within Mainstream Primary Schools?

Have you ever supported a pupil on a one-to-one basis?

Are you able to work full-time as a nursery nurse?

Teach Plus are currently working with multiple mainstream primary schools across Hillingdon who are seeking experienced Nursery Nurses to join the team.

As a nursery nurse you will need to have a passion for supporting children and young people.

You must be enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated to work well as a team and individually to provide the best support to the school.

For this nursery nurse role, you will be expected to support on a one-to-one basis for children with SEN, you will need to implement different teaching strategies to meet every pupil's individual needs.

You must have extensive knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to plan activities which meet pupils' needs.

You must have some knowledge of using PEC's, Makaton, and CACHE Level 3 childcare qualification.

As a Nursery Nurse you will be required to:

• Observes/monitor pupils progress through observations


• Support class teacher managing behaviours


• Create a fun and stimulating atmosphere where pupils can learn


• Plan activities based on the EYFS national curriculum


• Supervise during play and meal times

The ideal candidate for a Nursery Nurse will have:

• Experience supporting in a nursery or mainstream setting in Early Years


• Knowledge of PECs and Makaton


• Enhanced DBS on the update service - Child work force only


• Right to work within the UK


• Overseas criminal clearance
