Quantity Surveyor

A Quantity Surveyor is needed at a leading Durham construction company specializing in large-scale civil engineering projects.

Experience in groundworks or civil engineering is preferred.

Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contract commercial aspects


• Control project costs


• Prepare and submit cost reports


• Collaborate with teams to meet financial targets


• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors


• Ensure regulatory and standard compliance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial management, ideally within groundworks or civil engineering


• Strong analytical and negotiation skills


• Excellent communication and organizational abilities


• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
