Staff Accountant – Los Angeles, CA – Up to $80k

The Role

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for processing weekly payroll using ADP, tracking and applying PTO and PSL in accordance with company policy and legal regulations, and calculating final paychecks as needed.

Additional duties include recording invoices, reconciling bank accounts, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers to ensure compliance with accounting principles.

Provide support for month-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and assist management with legal matters, special projects, and internal controls.

• 3+ years in a similar role within the hospitality sector
• A minimum of two years of experience with restaurant-related systems
• Strong analytical skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities, are essential 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, is necessary 
• Must thrive in a collaborative team environment, and adapt to tight deadlines and changing business demands
