Assistant Finance Business Partner

In the Assistant Finance Business Partner job, you will be:

• Assisting in providing financial insights and support to key business units
• Preparing budgets detailed reports, forecasts, and financial models that drive strategic decision-making
• Partnering with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met, highlighting opportunities for growth and cost-saving initiatives
• Supporting key financial functions including treasury management, management accounting, and financial accounting, while maximising financial assets
• Ensuring appropriate funds are in place and supporting the financial control of development projects
• Setting up and managing financial processes and contracts, input financial data for benchmarking and ensuring accurate monthly reconciliations

To be successful, you will need:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• High level of financial and accounting experience 
• Strong analytical mindset with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Ability to prepare and present, and build relationships across finance and non-finance teams
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management accounts
• Excellent Excel skills and a knack for working with financial systems

This is a fixed term position up to 30th September 2025, working full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and based in offices in Abergele.
