Diaspora Insurance is seeking an experienced, passionate, outgoing and driven Marketing Manager to lead their digital marketing, social media, advertising and PR activities to grow their brand in existing markets and penetrate new markets.

You will be joining a dynamic and ambitious firm focused on making a huge impact on the African diasporas in terms of managing their insurable risks.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive global multi-channel marketing strategy
• Developing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the entire marketing department
• Leading teams of digital marketing, social media and PR executives
• Leading strategies to grow market share in existing markets and penetrate new markets
• Market intelligence through competitor analysis and research
• Cross-functional collaboration with sales and business development teams to align marketing strategies with departmental and corporate sales targets
• Ensure that marketing campaigns and materials comply with applicable FCA rules and regulations
• Ensure that marketing campaigns and materials comply with the corporate brand standards
• Attend senior management meetings
• Attending events to represent the company

The Person

The key skills and qualities of the Marketing Manager are:

• An MSc degree in digital marketing/marketing/sales from a reputable university
• More than 5 years proven experience as a Marketing Manager in insurance or related fields
• Keen, passionate about marketing and willing to learn new things
• Knowledgeable about marketing tools and software
• Creative, independent and entrepreneurial approach
• Deep knowledge of the African diaspora communities in the UK is a key advantage
• An ideal candidate should be familiar with market research techniques, data analysis and statistical methods
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
