External Funding Bid Writer

Service Care Solutions are working on behalf of a local authority in Walsall for an External Funding Bid Writer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Rate: £25-£26 Umbrella (based on experience, qualifications and interview performance)
Hours and Contract: 37 per week and 6 month's on going.
Location: Walsall.
Working: Remote.

Job Description:

• Funding Strategy: Support the creation and implementation of an External Funding Strategy aligned with Council priorities.


• Collaboration: Lead cross-departmental collaboration and engage with external stakeholders (Voluntary, Private, and Commercial Sectors) to secure funding.


• External Funding Group: Establish and manage an External Funding Group to develop proposals and share best practices.


• Bid Writing: Lead the drafting and submission of high-quality funding bids that meet funding criteria and deadlines.


• Compliance: Ensure compliance with funding procedures and governance across all applications.


• Monitoring: Track the success of bids, provide reports, and recommend improvements.

Postholders, maybe required to attend training, courses, or relevant meetings in relation to conduct their role.
