Job Title: Sous Chef – Luxury Venue - Buckinghamshire

Salary: up to £35,000

Location: Buckinghamshire

My client is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team at this unique and luxury estate in Buckinghamshire.

About the venue and company

• Luxury Country Estate
• Visitor attractions
• Afternoon Tea
• Wednesday to Sunday rota
• Accommodation can be provided
• 42 hours per week

About the position

• Assist the Head Chef in maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation across all outlets.
• Follow and enforce company procedures to ensure strong operational control and efficiency.
• Assist the Head Chef with stock takes
• Oversee the costing and preparation of the menu
• Support the development of junior chefs, fostering a productive and collaborative kitchen environment.

The successful candidate

• Experienced cook in multiple formats
• Excellent communicator and natural collaborator
• Excellent time management, ensuring all deadlines are hit and timelines are on track
• Strong financial acumen to create a consistent income for the department and manage costs in line with the budget
