Electrical Engineer - Fairham, Nottingham - £37,011/year

4-day working week

We are looking for multiple experienced electricians with a strong understanding of electrical systems.

This role will involve interpreting 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies.

Working in a team you will be contributing to the manufacture and assembly of cutting-edge components that power innovative power solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacturing of top-quality units for electrical switchgear systems.


• Interpret and implement 3 phase schematic and mechanical drawings with precision.


• Working to detailed CAD created drawings and schematics.


• Repair and modify electronic automated systems.


• Ensure maintenance of all company equipment.


• Operate machinery and equipment expertly, ensuring seamless execution of tasks in line with established procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• 16th / 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.


• JIB/ECS Gold Card.


• Demonstrated experience in LV electronic Switchgear manufacturing.


• Demonstrated work experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary.


• Strong communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must.


• Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards.


• Utilise critical thinking skills to tackle challenges head-on and uncover solutions that keep us moving forward.

Desirable Requirements:

• City & Guilds 2391 (Electrical Inspection & Testing).


• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.


• IOSH managing safely.
