Site Engineer

A leading steel company in Ayshire is currently looking for a Site Engineer for a permanent position UK wide, with potential opportunities to work abroad.

Salary: £70,000 per year
Start Date: Immediately
Hours: On-site hours: 07:00 AM - 17:30 - 18:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Some weekends available and required with prior notice.
Contract Duration: Permanent role with opportunities for progression.
Duties:

• Plumb, line, and level steel structures


• Conduct site surveys and setting out


• Understand and implement QA/QC for handover purposes


• Raise and close NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)


• Co-ordinate with designers


• Work closely with Site and Project Managers to successfully deliver projects

Requirements:

• Ideally an Engineering qualification (not essential)


• Strong steel background, able to plumb, line, and level


• Strong IT skills, including CAD and Trimble


• Ability to manage site surveys and setting out


• Understanding of QA/QC processes and NCR management
