Bench Technician

Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a skilled Bench Technician to join our client’s dynamic workshop team in Walsall

Our client specialises in hydraulic tooling and mechanical systems, supplying high-performance equipment across industries including oil & gas, transport, utilities, and manufacturing

Their reputation for precision and reliability has earned the trust of global partners in engineering, logistics, and infrastructure

Salary: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, operate, and test hydraulic equipment including hoses, sub-assemblies, tensioners, pumps, and accessories

Pick and pack hydraulic tensioners and components when required Work from technical drawings to build various hydraulic tools

‍♂️Operate forklift trucks and perform slinging and rigging tasks

Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

️ Use handheld and power tools in a physical workshop environment

Follow MRP systems and workshop procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Understanding of hydraulic systems and safety risks

Ability to use test equipment safely and accurately

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn

Physically fit, proactive, and passionate about progression

Good listener with strong initiative and attention to detail

Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop settings

✅ Forklift and slinging/rigging licences (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours:

Monday–Friday: 8am–4:30pm (weekends are yours! )
